Who Receives The Final July Social Security Payment?

Earlier payment rounds were issued on July 8 for birthdays from the 1st through the 10th and July 15 for birthdays from the 11th through the 20th. Beneficiaries who started receiving Social Security before May 1997 or who receive both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) follow a separate payment schedule.
What To Do If Your Payment Doesn’t Arrive
If your expected payment doesn’t appear on time, the SSA recommends waiting three mailing days before reporting it as missing. Banking delays can occasionally affect when direct deposits become available.

Some SSI Recipients Will Receive Two Payments In July
While regular Social Security beneficiaries are following the standard payment calendar, SSI recipients have a different schedule this month.
Because August 1 falls on a Saturday, the SSA will issue August’s SSI payment early on July 31. That means SSI beneficiaries will receive two payments in July, but no SSI payment in August. The second July payment is simply an early August benefit—not an extra or bonus payment.
